In This Book John North Turns "Wrong" To Right!

John North's approach to growing a business is from the inside out and also the outside in, in otherword John looks at business from all sides. The title is quite strong but after reading this book, I have to admit; many of my stratagies and beliefs were pretty weak and some WERE down right wrong! In this book, John takes you back to the 1950's and the begining of TV advertising which according to John changed everything! From then on, John walks you through the different froms that marketing has passed through, pointing out why they work and why they don't. I especially liked the chapter on cutting cost and plan to follow Johns suggestions. I also found the chapter on licencing very useful. This is one of those books that has something for everyone who is starting a business and is looking for easy answers and "how-too's.

The story changes when the angle changes

This is not just a marketing book.
Before reading further, I want to make clear that a five star review means that I love this book.

This is not just a marketing book.

This starts out with a premise on marketing, but is out and out a book on understanding better systems and human mind.

Moreover, this book focuses on ethical growth by sheer understanding of nuances.

(The book deals with a wide perspective. The scope of the review is not to act as a spoiler. But to evaluate.)

I recommend this to my whole team.

Every chapter offers helpful tips and examples from 'the trenches'

I love the compelling title and how the author goes into great detail showing us what there is to Marketing and why he makes this claim. A book to be used as a step by step guide for business owners like me. Every chapter offers helpful tips and examples from 'the trenches', this is real, not something theoretical but actually from someone who's 'been there, done that' and helps clients get their marketing right. Highly recommended reading

Most Marketing Interrupts But Does Not Engage. This Book Engages!

This book hit me right upside my head! Makes me think about everything I am doing for my business, not doing for my business and doing wrong in my business. What IS my message? Is what I think I am saying about myself and my business really communicating what I want my message to say? When people get to my website, am I just saying the same old rubbish,....blah, blah, blah? Service, quality, dependability yawn...How do we make ourselves stand out from the crowds of businesses offering similar products and services? Are we competing on price? If so, its our own darned fault! Have we written a book? Are we seriously out there on social media? Are we business-like when we need to be on certain websites? Are we more relaxed on others? Do we know the demographics of the users of different media. Which ones attract more male users and which ones attract more female users? Do we use hashtags correctly. There is so much in this book I didn't know I needed to know! No wonder my page ranking on Google has steadily fallen off over the last 5 years. I will take this book and go to work on boosting my business profile on line.
